Performed by: ● Rise Youth Dance ● Make Performing Arts ● Somerset Youth Theatre The evening includes new work by MAKE Performing Arts on the subject of the first PROTESTS and they ended up changing the world and Rise Youth Dance with a new original performance. This evening is also a presentation of short works by the Somerset Youth Theatre, featuring ‘Sunday Roast’ which explores the unsaid secrets among families, centred around a Sunday Roast Dinner table. An intriguing mix of life experiences, all mixed together with singing vegetables, gravy and Yorkshire puddings!

SUBTITLED VERSION To coincide with Anthony Gormley's loan of his new sculpture DOUBT to Wells Cathedral, Wells Heritage Partners has created an education programme to inspire school children and students in key stages 1-5. Project Factory CIC of Wells raised the funds for the installation of the work in Niche 338 of the West Front of Wells Cathedral and is offering travel bursaries to enable local school children to attend the study days run jointly by Wells Cathedral, Wells & Mendip Museum and The Bishop’s Palace. Antony Gormley’s new sculpture DOUBT, a loan from the artist, can be seen at Wells Cathedral in Somerset. The sculpture, by one of the world’s most famous living artists, is in dialogue with over 300 medieval statues and carvings on the magnificent fourteenth century West Front of the Cathedral. It has provoked reactions from art lovers worldwide as well as the citizens of Wells. Free to view, it is a contemporary icon in a city full of medieval treasures. In this short film Antony Gormley talks about the work, its location, and its meaning. Also appearing in the film are Duncan Cameron, artist and lecturer, and The Revd Canon Nicholas Jepson-Biddle, Precentor of Wells Cathedral. Project Factory CIC is proud to have raised the money to bring the sculpture to the City of Wells and is grateful to Mendip District Council for assistance in making this film.

Front Garden Music Festival 2022! Sunday 12 June, Over the weekend, we saw over 4,500 people come out and enjoy more than 60 musicians performing as solo acts, duos, bands, string quartets and choirs in settings ranging from private gardens, parks and pub gardens through playing fields to National Trust gardens. Local creative people were given a platform to showcase their talents, alongside high-quality acts that travelled to the event. People across Sedgemoor, eager to see some live music had the opportunity to come and experience it, right on their doorsteps.

A mob of local guitarists and bassists John backing band John D Revelator on the Cornhill in Bridgwater to perform Should I Stay or Should I Go. Clashmobbers: Jack Sayer, Andrew Williams, Jason Crammond, Sharon Collins, Jade Hillman, Aiden Little, Pat Hayward, Steve Quantick, Nick Kilduff, John Barnes, Peter Strong, Martin Little, Alan Hardcastle, Daniel Amatiello, Michael Wheatley and 15 others who could not make it on the day.
